Our History

1997-2024

Founded in 1997 under the leadership of Louise Fitzimons, Deerpark Montessori School has built a proud tradition of excellence rooted in the Montessori method. Through Louise’s exceptional direction and consistent dedication, the school has grown into a vibrant learning environment, enriched with an impressive variety and quality of Montessori materials for children to explore and enjoy. Her commitment to authentic Montessori practice set a strong foundation and served as an inspiring model for her successor, Margarita Campos, who had the privilege of working closely alongside her mentor.

In 2024, Margarita assumed full leadership of the school, ensuring that the pure Montessori essence that has defined Deerpark Montessori for over two decades continues to flourish. While introducing new activities, updated timetables, and extended weekly hours, the heart of our philosophy remains unchanged—providing a nurturing, respectful space where each child can grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence. Today, Margarita works in close partnership with our dedicated teacher, Lili Saib, who brings her enthusiasm, expertise, and joy for early childhood education into the classroom every day, ensuring that the Deerpark Montessori tradition remains vibrant and forward-looking.
